Statewide welcomes new Directors, Bethel Campbell and Katrina Peters

We are delighted to announce that solicitors Bethel Campbell and Katrina Peters have been appointed as Directors of Statewide! 

Statewide has been servicing its residential conveyancing clients throughout Mackay and the wider Queensland region since 1997, and has since grown to also offer a full suite of commercial law and family law solutions, led by Bethel and Katrina respectively.

Both Katrina and Bethel are long term and valued employees who have contributed greatly to the growth of the business. They will take an active role in the leadership and management of the business, alongside with existing Director, Roland Taylor, as well as continuing to drive their own, very successful legal teams.

Bethel Campbell

Bethel began her legal career in Mackay in 2006 and has an extensive knowledge of residential conveyancing laws, practices and procedures in Queensland.  She regularly assists clients and real estate professionals with advice on buying and selling residential properties and other conveyancing issues.  Bethel also focuses her time on assisting her valued clients with commercial property issues, such as the review and preparation of commercial leases, the sale and purchase of commercial land and buildings, rural conveyancing and the purchase and sale of businesses.  She also enjoys assisting her clients with their estate planning needs, including the preparation of wills and powers of attorney. Bethel’s energy in all that she does is something that immediately stands out to all who meet her.  Her desire is for her clients to receive friendly practical advice for them to achieve their property goals, whether personal or business. Outside of work she is active in the community. She is a proud mum and wife to Tim, a long-time supporter of a variety of local sporting clubs and organisations, including Kookaburra Daycare, and Fitzgerald State School P&C.

Katrina Peters

Katrina began her legal career in 2000 as a legal secretary.  She subsequently commenced studying law at university in 2005.  She quickly found her ‘home’ in family law and has focused her career entirely in that field since. Katrina joined Statewide in 2017 and has grown ‘Statewide Family Law’ from scratch, establishing a reputation as a hardworking, client focused family lawyer. She works with her clients to support and understand their needs; ensuring she is best positioned to make a difference in their lives and give real peace of mind. She is focused on giving them the direction and solutions they need to move on with their lives. Her efforts both in the office and outside of work are to be commended. At the heart of everything she does, and her greatest support, is her husband and daughter. Katrina has shown a desire to challenge herself, set goals and push herself to achieve them. Katrina is a long standing member of the business referral network, BNI Dynamic chapter, as well as other community and business based groups in Mackay.

Bethel and Katrina bring to the table many years of experience in the legal industry, and are excited to join Roland Taylor in leading the practice forward to its next chapter.
